| Christine Freeman was born December 25, 1884 in Manitoba, Canada. She never married. She died of tuberculosis on April 22, 1922 and is buried in Hillsdale Cemetery, south of Blaine. | |||

In 1911 Christine Freeman received a postcard
from Manitoba. It was written in Icelandic. In 2007, Dianne Bird sent it
to Rob Olason, who then found a couple of native Icelandic speakers to
provide a translation. What was the subject of the postcard?
